Clinical Child Psychology focuses on understanding, assessing, and supporting children’s emotional, behavioral, social, and developmental needs. At SETU Child Development Centre, our clinical child psychologists work closely with children and their families. Furthermore, they identify challenges that affect learning, relationships, emotions, and daily functioning. In addition, they conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each child’s unique strengths and needs. Therefore, we create personalized intervention plans based on evidence-based practices. As a result, children develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and reach their full potential through timely support and intervention.

Every child experiences emotions differently. Therefore, our psychologists conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each child’s strengths, concerns, and developmental needs. Furthermore, we evaluate emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and social functioning using evidence-based practices. In addition, we develop personalized intervention plans based on each child’s age, abilities, and goals. As a result, children receive individualized support that promotes emotional well-being, confidence, and healthy development.

Our Clinical Child Psychology services support children with a wide range of emotional and developmental challenges. These include anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation challenges, and social communication difficulties. Furthermore, we work closely with parents, teachers, and therapists to provide consistent support. In addition, we ensure every child receives guidance at home, school, and during therapy sessions. Parents play an integral role in all children’s progress. So we make regular progress reports, offer parent counselling and have home strategies to assist the family in supporting their child’s emotional and behavioural development. We believe a good working relationship between the psychologist, the family and the school is essential for good long-term outcomes.

We will teach confidence, emotional health and wellbeing and the skills required for everyday life at SETU, so that every child can develop these.
