Neuro Development Therapy

Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT) is a specialized form of treatment designed to help children move, develop posture, balance, co-ordination and function. We offer one-to-one Neuro Developmental Treatment at SETU Child Development Centre focusing on each child’s strengths, developmental needs and therapy objectives. Moreover, our skilled therapists make thorough evaluations prior to tailoring a treatment plan. Children benefit as a consequence from targeted interventions that enhance their physical function, confidence and independence in doing daily activities.

All children learn to move and control their movements at their own speed. As a result, our therapists will thoroughly evaluate muscle tone, posture, balance, coordination, mobility and functional movement patterns. Additionally, we recognise every child’s strengths and target areas for additional support. In addition, we use evidence-based Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT) methods to enhance motor control, body position/direction, postural stability and movement quality. A tailored strategy enables children to be more confident in home, school and community activities.

Helping Children Build Independence Through Movement

We are able to offer support to children with a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay, motor co-ordination issues, a variety of neurological conditions, muscular weakness, genetic conditions, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and more. In addition, we have a multi-disciplinary team that is closely connected to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, special educators and parents. Also, we plan and/or provide regular therapy in the home, school, and clinical settings. Therefore, children benefit from well-coordinated care that supports their children’s progress, both physically and developmentally.

At SETU Child Development Centre, we use evidence-based Neuro Developmental Treatment techniques tailored to each child’s individual needs and developmental goals. Furthermore, our therapists design engaging, child-friendly activities that improve movement, balance, strength, coordination, and functional independence. In addition, we help children strengthen their posture, mobility, gross motor skills, body awareness, and daily living abilities. Moreover, we encourage children to apply these skills during play, learning, self-care, and social interactions. As a result, they participate more confidently in everyday activities. Additionally, our therapists monitor each child’s progress regularly and review therapy goals throughout the treatment process. Therefore, we adjust therapy plans whenever needed to achieve the best possible developmental outcomes.
